BREAKING: The White House has no fucking clue who the president calls on unsecure cell phones.

Jim Acosta

WH official says aides were caught off guard by Bill Taylor's testimony that an aide heard Trump talk about "investigations" with EU Amb Gordon Sondland.

“The overheard phone call was new to every one," the official said.

I'd bet vital parts of my anatomy that there are sigint (signals intelligence) teams that follow his movements around the world, just to eavesdrop with things like stingray cell scammers and such.

We know there's been Chinese officials all over Maralago and Bedminster in Jersey.

I'm not sure we can add this as a charge if our position is that he was conducting personal business in the first place. If he was doing that, he shouldn't have been using a secured phone line.

The actual impeachable offense is using the US Ambassador to the Ukraine in his official capacity to conduct personal business via other State Department officials. Doing it in the way that makes it most likely you will be caught (or overheard and blackmailed by the Russians) is kind of your own business I think.

even HAVE a secure phone? I get the feeling he NEVER uses any of the secure phones. I think I recall hearing once when he was first in office that he doesn't like the phones they want him to use.

It's astonishing how we all just ignore all thee rules he breaks. This AM I heard a guest on a radio talk show state that we shouldn't assume things will go back to normal when he leaves office. The mess we're in now wasn't caused by DT. It's been 30+ years in the making! Sorry, I don't recall the name of the guest. but he scRED THE HECK OUT OF ME.

or in a meeting or on paper, it's supposed to be documented by official means. It would seem that tRump's sloppy security and poor documentation practices may even warrant an impeachable offense charge against him.

We can rest assured our deep state intelligence is monitoring his calls unless he has taken measures to prevent them from doing that work. And, those agents listening may not have the means or authority to report things that they suspect are illegal or break the rules of government.

That is, unless they want to risk being a whistleblower.......
