(11,451 posts)Yesterday. I only have a antenna and my ipad with CNN and Msnbc so was watching few min of discussion during break of ABC, CBS, and NBC and I noticed that both CBS and ABC were taking the hearings very seriously and Chuck Todd and another on NBC were doing the both sides thing and I was disgusted and turned quick.
I didnt check PBS although I get that too.
I was actually surprised by ABC and CBS considering how conservative the owners are.

(25,962 posts)I had C-SPAN on the computer and MSNBC on the TV. Ended up with the TV so I could post and watch at the same time more easily. MSNBC was surprisingly good. I listened to much of the interstitial commentary to get a sense of what people would be hearing. It was informative, critical of Republican bluster and lack of focus, and very thoughtful and complimentary of the witnesses. I haven't watched TV coverage of anything in a while, so I was pleasantly surprised.

(11,451 posts)Were that way too. NBC has changed, letting Chuck on their political panel and I cant remember who else but not the same as all the rest and I turned channel quickly. I think part of difference is in the old days Brian Williams was on NBC for stuff like that and they moved him to MSNBC.
Would like to see their ratings against others since people could choose.

(9,478 posts)Wasn't the new Republican Conspiracy theory they were floating was that the Democrats have nude or compromising pictures of Donald Trump? That must mean they know that they are out there (I bet Putin has them).

I simply can not understand how, with the future of our country at stake, Dem leaders could have failed to tell witnesses to bring tap shoes and feather boas for the grand finale fan-kicking tap line. Complete political malpractice. Not even so much as jazz hands after answers.
