why did I choose her? In 2001 he was probably a very eligible bachelor who had a lot of other choices. Just saying.

He and Kellyanne were fellow travelers. No one knows what their story is now. It could be that their marriage is another victim of ETTTD or maybe they just agree to disagree when it comes to Trump.

(102,205 posts)Theodore Olson (Bush v Gore) was during the Bush years (and I'll note his late wife Barbara, who died in a plane on 911 was like Kellyanne a very prominent "mouth" for RW nonsense). Ted, though went on to join David Boise in their successful challenge of CA Prop 8 that outlawed gay marriage. Since then he's sucessfully defended a number of civil rights causes and more progressive positions on public health and other regulations while refusing to defend Trump in the Mueller investigation.
So, some of these old school R's arguably need to be looked upon a bit different--certainly distinct from Trumpsters.

(102,205 posts)I'd say he's heads and light-years above > 90% of the RW on the eligibility scale, at least for conservative-leaning women. His conservative leanings aren't going away, but if I had a similar leaning intelligent never Trumpster friend, I'd say they could do far worse than ole Georgie. And I'd love to see him give Kellyanne the boot.
Looks aren't everything.
