So how many of you think that the discussion between Barr and Trump...
was Barr telling him the magical mystery tour Barr and Durham just completed resulted in nothing they can leverage or fabricate into a distraction.

2. Both of the above ...
... Barr telling him the magical mystery tour Barr and Durham just completed resulted in nothing they can leverage or fabricate ... that would make impeachment magically disappear.

4. Nope. It was Barr telling him the Rudy Giuliani SDNY investigation has gone beyond his control
SDNY has miraculously pulled off a hat trick and expanded its inquiry to encompass Rudy's campaign violations, FARA violations and more.
It's also why Rudy threatened that he had an "insurance policy" today. The noose is tightening. Kellyanne going on CNN to try to ameliorate her own reputation is also recognition that the end game is afoot. Not sure where this goes atm but the Republican circular firing squad might have actually started today. I really doubt Barr is willing to go to jail for #Traitor |

to escape the inevitable flush...

Stroke, stroke, stroke it 'til he's almost, not quite, dead. Tell St. Peter at the golden gate, We just hate to make him wait, But we just gotta see another stroke for Trump. Apologies to Merle Travis and Tex Williams -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smoke!_Smoke!_Smoke!_(That_Cigarette) |

12. Trump had the White House press corp wait in the cold
while he had a 45 minute "animated" discussion with Barr and others in the Oval Office. When he came out to get on Marine I, he refused to take questions.
Someone on DU pointed out earlier tonight that if that Oval Office discussion had gone well for Trump, he would have taken a chance to talk to the press and spike the football, so the conclusion of that DU member was that the discussion went badly for Trump. Barr may be at a point where criminality and future jail for him is a sure thing, he may not want to carry Trump's water anymore. |

14. Wait! What? Don't I remember the right-wing media having a years long cow...
About former President Clinton and AG Loretta Lynch meeting once on a plane in AZ?
Geez, I answered my own question searching the correct spelling of her name. The Trumpanzees have built an entire branch of the crazy conspiracy net around that meeting and were still ranting about it as recently as late last year. Sigh, yet another IOKIYAAR. ![]() |
