If they have consequences for their behavior. So far, they have seen only success. The Federalist Society is extremely happy with all of the toxic judges they have crammed on our courts. I am glad that there are still codes of ethics for judges - we may be able to remove a few of them in the coming years.

Barr is attacking "The Left" even though The Democratic Party is not "The Left". Certainly Democrats are left of the Republicans but we are a wide coalition from conservatives like Manchin, Heitcamp, etc... to moderates like Buttegieg and Hickenlooper, to liberals like Harris, Gillibrand, to progressives like Warren, to more leftist leaning people like AOC. He is trying to blame Democrats for defending the system of government using the rules and institutions granted by the Constitution. Using the same tired strategy of projecting the right wing's own actions onto the opposition.

PLUS, this man has no place even being near ANY position of power in the first place! This is the man who pushed GHW Bush to pardon conspirators during Iran-Contra, another REAL Republican scandal where the Reagan administration went behind the back of the Carter administration to sabotage the release of the hostages by promising to sell missiles to Iran, a designated state sponsor of terrorism whom it was illegal to sell anything to, let alone lethal weapons. Then they funneled money to and through Right wing Nicaraguan death squads (again, illegally) and allowed those groups to launder money by allowing drugs into our inner cities. That was Barr's claim to fame. And again, this was done to allow Republicans to win an election.
