The White House Medical Unit . . .

. . . is actually pretty awesome.

They have emergency medical and trauma capabilities on site, including examination rooms, a basic pharmacy, a crash cart. They have about 24 total staff, including doctors, nurses, PAs and medics. They have a *full* pharmacy and surgical suite on Air Force One, and they make sure that an operating room is no more than a few minutes away from wherever POTUS is, or they set one up themselves for as long as he's there.

In short, pretty much anything POTUS needs, at least for urgent care, is available in-house.

So why did the motherfucker go to Walter Reed?

A partial physical? Bullshit. Even those without medical knowledge know that physicals don't work that way.

Routine tests? Maybe, but reports are that the visit wasn't on the schedule as of the previous evening, and that he was complaining of chest discomfort at Walter Reed.

One scenario, probably the best one (from the MF's perspective), is that he was having some lousy indigestion, and wasn't content with the WHMU's diagnosis (because he knows more than any so-called "doctor," right?), so he insisted on Walter Reed for advanced tests or whatever. They humored him, and they made up the partial physical bullshit so that he wouldn't look weak. I can't rule this out, but Stephanie Graham's admonition that speculation beyond the official story is "dangerous for the country" sets off my bullshit detector. Don't question my health OR ELSE! is not the position of a healthy MF, or a healthy MF's spokesthing.

Another, more hopeful scenario, is that he's having heart problems, and the tests coming back today will confirm that.

A third, even more hopeful scenario, is that it's part of a ruse to give himself a medical excuse to resign.

Dare we dream?

he's not played golf in the last few weeks? This is something that's always on his public schedule, and for some reason, he hasn't managed to hit the links lately.

Look, aside from money, fame, and sex, is there anything this guy loves more than golf? Certainly way more than any member of his own family. I'm finding this rather curious.

Full disclosure - I'm a very active 55-year-old who has been a golfer for 40 years, and I had to put my own play on the shelf around June of this year as the result of a specific injury, tearing in one of the tendons of my right forearm, so I've undergone treatment and am in the midst of a multi-month rehab process. If anything like this was the reason for his absence, I can't imagine why he or anyone around him would want to be less than 100% transparent.

This episode makes me wonder if the symptoms that led him to Walter Reed yesterday have been scaring him sufficiently to the point where he was afraid to even go out onto the course.

He can't handle the fact that not only was he not praised at the game, everyone else KNOWS it and is lauding it. He can't handle humiliation and that was big! And his vindictive nature won't let him stop ruminating over it which leads to long term adrenaline release. His abuse of Addreall and whatever else is contributing to the heightened BP so I cold see him starting to have problems at this point. Whatever happens, I want the whole cabal exposed and ousted.

but the WH medical corp has the medications needed to stop a panic attack cold and can do an EKG -- assuming when they gave him a bolus of Xanax he settled down, and his EKG was good, they could also do serial tropins (heart attack lab).

The only thing I can think is they found something concerning and either wanted a cath lab -- or his physician ordered a stress test for his physical and they went to WR to perform it -- so he maybe telling the partial truth.

Isn't this the SOP of mafia guys who are going to trial? They run large money-making and murderous organizations. But when they are in a courtroom, they are in wheelchairs or on crutches. They look too feeble or unable to run a large operation, based on convenient heart and arthritic alibis. Doesn't always work, but it's worth a try for sympathy. Maybe even a reduced sentence.

My opinion (for what it's worth):

1. He's looking for a way out before he's impeached or removed from office (if Putin agrees - but that may not be what the commissar wants)
or
2. He's worked out a plan to be pardoned by Pence (But his ego may want Pence to go down, as well)
or
3. (This is a stretch) He may have to go to a place where they have "The Best" doctors and no extradition treaty with the U. S.

Just thinking out loud.

The plus side, for him, is that he loves to wallow in self pity, and what better excuse than to have been driven to ill health by his enemies. Maybe he’ll even claim the Deep State poisoned his hamberders.

Notice that he was able to walk to the limo himself.

My job was relocated to another State and I commuted between SC & Tx. for almost 3 months while looking for a house. I guess all that travel, new job, buying a house, working with all new people, and having a house closing was a bit more than my brain wanted to handle. One day at work, I got tingling down my one arm, faster heart beat, and tightness in my chest. I asked on of our Sectrtrys to take me to the ER. Make a long story short, they determined it to be a "panic attack", gave me a script to calm down my nerves, and I've been fine ever since.

With all the bad things hitting DT in the last few weeks, it wouldn't surprise me if that's what his visit to the ER was for. That would also explain why he wasn't kept for observation.
