When all the debris is swept away...

The US Senate will have to decide whether or not Donald Trump attempted to bribe the Ukraine President by withholding funds and did he do it for political advantage?

Also, did he attempt to obstruct the Congress by withholding witnesses to a legitimate investigation?

Did he intimidate a witness during her testimony by tweeting while she was testifying?

Did he lie to the Special Counsel about his conversations with the recently convicted Roger Stone?

All the other stuff, at this time, is extraneous. Hunter Biden will not be on trial. Neither will Burisma. Neither will be anything to do with the 2016 election or Hillary Clinton or the server. All that is political debris. The trial in the Senate will be about Donald Trump. No one else.

republicans are very likely to say, fine, he's a crook, but we stand a better chance of being re-elected if we pretend otherwise.

Their willingness to ignore the evidence will give Trump a green light to continue his mobster ways
