Republicans are domestic enemies

They are enemies of the Constitution. They are enemies to the oath of office they all took. They are enemies of what America is supposed to stand for. And they are enemies of decency as they demonstrated yesterday with their attacks on Lt. Colonel Vindman, a decorated soldier who shed blood for his country.

Their implications that he was more loyal to Ukraine than the United States was beyond despicable. And, of course, the right wing media has picked up on these attacks and is treating them as reality.

Colonel Vindman and his family may be relocated to a military base for their safety. You can imagine how many death threats he's received from MAGAs, spurred on by Republicans and their tweeting "god," the orange beast.

When a man like Vindman isn't safe, it shows us what Republicans have done to America. They've turned it into a very ugly, hate-filled place in which human decency and doing the right thing are acts of courage.

I swear to Support and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign (i.e. Russians) and the republican party.

That in itself has become a full-time job.

What Barr said the other day made me sick to my stomach, it really showed how radicalized they have become:

The fact of the matter is that, in waging a scorched earth, no-holds-barred war of “Resistance” against this Administration, it is the Left that is engaged in the systematic shredding of norms and the undermining of the rule of law. This highlights a basic disadvantage that conservatives have always had in contesting the political issues of the day. It was adverted to by the old, curmudgeonly Federalist, Fisher Ames, in an essay during the early years of the Republic.

In any age, the so-called progressives treat politics as their religion. Their holy mission is to use the coercive power of the State to remake man and society in their own image, according to an abstract ideal of perfection. Whatever means they use are therefore justified because, by definition, they are a virtuous people pursing a deific end. They are willing to use any means necessary to gain momentary advantage in achieving their end, regardless of collateral consequences and the systemic implications. They never ask whether the actions they take could be justified as a general rule of conduct, equally applicable to all sides.

are Republicans. Barr is one of the ones doing so. When it comes to doing anything for power no one else comes close to the tactic used by the right-wing and there so called Christians base. Lying, Cheating and Stealing are SOP for them and the Federalist Society is one of the really bad actors.

a guy who got out of vietnam because of a boil on his ass, who mocked vindman as 'self important' (at least- in the little part i heard) who has attacked all trump critics.

if talk radio hosts on those stations criticize trump they get fired, like the one in colorado last week. maybe they were sensitive though, because linmbaugh got demoted off the loudest station in the state - KOA - where he's been for 30 years, possibly because of activism at the university of colorado which has been supporting that rw radio station and limbaugh, trump, global warming denial, racism etc by broadcasting sports on it. they were getting letters in local papers and activism off and on for years

if that's what it was there are 260 other limbaugh stations that would have to adjust if 87 major universities rethought similar sports broadcasting relationships.

all those schools are renting or loaning their 'brands' and mascots to those stations to help them sell advertising and attack trump critics, keep trump in the white house, and intimidate GOP senators into staying with the traitor

Therein lies the problem. But the "now what?" remains a valid question.
