I do wonder whether Castor is a Liberty boy, whether he believed the lines of crap being fed to him by Nunez and company, or whether he was so stupid that he thought he could make a name for himself with this job and have a soft landing, and now he's figuring out he's going to be the fall guy for their failure.

Might need to travel further to do law, but it would be worth it to get a law degree from a ranked school rather than an unranked one...

Anybody notice his body language at the end of his first round of questions awhile back?

He’s been leaning forward while questioning the witness. Now, it’s finally over and what does he do?

Almost literally collapses back into his chair, in a slumping posture. Head’s turned to the side, a look of “well this sucks the big one!” on his face. Brow in a deep and constant furrow.

He is clearly NOT having a good time with this.

It sounds like yesterday's Volker, Morrison, and today's rethugs with Sondland have had time to synch their story and got it well memorized.

Yesterday, my internal BS alarm went off with Morrison every time he did his famous looking up thing. I tried it (looking up like that), then asked myself what I'm doing. The answer was I was trying to recall something that I had memorized (like when taking a difficult test). The clincher was when he talked about his opinion of Vindman's reliability and judgment (his role in the smear job). It will be very interesting to hear what Dr. Hill will say about that tomorrow.

Steve Castor displaying high anxiety as he is saying to Gordon Sondland, "We're trying to get to the facts..."

An attorney should never touch their face, head, or neck whilst on the job.

#GordonSondland's frequent sincere smiles (sometimes suppressed) as well as his suppressed laughter, in large measure, are signaling his emotional relief. Although he has significant anxiety, he's also happy, even joyful that he's testifying.

#DevinNunes exhibits multiple displays of Regret-Frustration (with a secondary component of Anger) as he reads his opening statement.

Gordon Sondland displays contempt for Devin Nunes. Mr. Sondland does NOT believe Rep. Nunes' allegations (regarding the Republican's Ukraine-Dem-2016 election conspiracy theory).

Gordon Sondland's frequent drinking is:

• A signal his throat is dry (secondary to anxiety)
• An outlet for his adrenaline surges (fidgeting)
• Provides a brief camouflage for displaying emotions facial expressions

Rep. Jordan's anger is, with extremely high probability, a manifestation of displaced aggression. More specifically, he's angry at others because of something *HE* feels he did wrong.

• He believes it makes him look youthful
• He wants to stick out from the crowd
• He wants to show disrespect for politicians (i.e., "I'm not one of 'em&quot
• He believes it makes him look like a 'workin' man'
