That's more than a year before Nixon resigned. Democrats took control of the House on January 2, 2019, not quite 11 months ago. We're still in the very early stages, and folks who want to wrap up the inquiry right now yesterday (we haven't even gotten to investigation yet) are no friends of the Constitution or good government.

But isn't it instructive how many of those 36 excuses are being used again?
