I sat in the backseat of a moving car on a busy Ohio highway and heard your every word during your call with the guy I knew sitting in the front seat. You were not on speakerphone, @realDonaldTrump. As my mother would say, your voice carries.

people who are, and won't admit it or do something to compensate for it, will tend to yell and speak loudly, especially on the phone.

others' conversation. We have to gently get his attention and remind him to lower his voice. AND, it can be irritating, especially when he wakes someone up. My brother is like that to.

Both also think they have important things to say, so speaking over people was something they probably always did. Now that they're older, cranky, and hearing impaired - they just ramp it up. And Sondland did say that "Trump was in a bad mood" - Holy crap, I can just see/hear Trump speaking loudly into the phone - no doubt about it.
