I have to give her credit, though, for her show of 'support'. It's something I never would have gotten from my mother, so maybe I'm a little, ok, a LOT sensitive about and appreciative of a parent's unconditional love for one of their offspring.

I wish she’d lived to be riding horses at 93. Born the same year as the Queen, died at 90.

I never questioned his unconditional love, for me, because he never, ever gave me reason to. He's been gone for 20 years, and I still miss him each and every day.

As a mom Queen E will always support her children. She may have pulled Andrew's public duties, but she would never stop being his mother.

I gave up riding (English saddle) when I reached my 40s. My bones started creaking about then and it only got worse from there. Western saddles are more comfortable, IMO...

These are as recently as a couple years ago;

Here she is from years ago, riding sidesaddle in Formal attire during the "Trooping the Colour" celebration.

I've always admired her for her love of horses.

The horse has to be trained for it, and when her last one retired, she decided it wasn't worth training a new one for it. I think she only did it for the dress occasions, as the pictures show.

However, any horse she rides must be trained for whatever she is doing. I'd be interested in the breed of horse she was riding. Also if it was a mare or a gelding...Off to Google...

Although I can't see Trump getting anywhere near an animal who is smarter, stronger, more powerful, more competent, and better looking than he is.

One she has been riding since before she could walk, two, she’d never pick a horse she couldn’t ride, three, the horse would throw itself on the ground to break her fall, three, some guy in a tall furry hat would dive U.N. to rescue her.

This was a mother out riding with her disgraced son.
