The group I am working with outside of DU is working on making this a thing... no we don't want to normalize corruption, but we do want to see if the people saying these things will remember them come January 21, 2021.

The key word here is ABUSE. Just so you understand? Abuse is a BAD thing. Not a good thing. It actually IS a crime.

Oh, and one more thing.

Go F*@k yourself.

7. Abuse of Power is worse than a crime it's against the Constitution

Congress does not try crimes. That power is delegated to another branch of government. But congress does have the power to impeach an remove a president for Abuse of Power.

I am sure Matt Whitaker knows this, and is just playing games as are all of Trump's thugs.

The beloved Framers adopted the phrase “high crimes and misdemeanors” both knowing and intending that the term included non-criminal abuses of official power.

... force of the right wing power.* He spent millions of dollars in helping block Merrick Garland from
even getting a hearing much less a vote to be on the US Supreme Court.

BTW Abuse of power to cover up a crime is a crime.

Congress could have a slam dunk against Trump after he admitted he broke the law in paying
the $2,000,000 civil penalty for his shame charity. Trump is a walking talking mentally ill crook.
Hell, he has the US Air Force flying out of its way to buy gas from him and stay @ his money losing
golf course in Scotland.

There is no crime listed in the U.S. Code of Laws called "Abuse of Power." Yet Andrew Johnson, Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton (his was voted down in the House) and most likely Donald Trump have all been/will be charged with Abuse of Power as a "High Crime and Misdemeanor" Article of Impeachment. Abuse of Power is a political crime not a criminal justice system crime.

There were three Articles of Impeachment against Nixon. The first deals with obstruction of justice, the second with the constitutional rights of citizens, and the third with abuse of power.
