Mocking so-called “Conservatives” about their blindness to God-Emperor Trump’s ties to Russia ought to be a campaign meme next year for any Democratic candidate next year, particularly in districts with a lot of military and ex-military voters.

"Rep Adam Schiff now doesn't seem so sure about impeachment."

What kind of fresh hell have we here? Schiff's closing statement last Thursday left no
doubt about where he stand on impeachment. And he followed up in his support of it
over the weekend too.

Donald Trump is the intellectual equal of Tucker Carlson which sets records for willful ignorance. The just joking defense is a tell you really meant what you say.

So several possibilities:

1. No response from Trump it; unnerved him enough he wants distance from someone stating the obvious.

2. Trump condemns what Tucker said; Trump is lying to save his ass from an immediate unknown threat.

3. Trump agrees with Carlson; a rare moment of honesty for Donald Trump.

I would be in favor of an all out boycott of all Fox News sponsors. Why would any one watch Fox when you can find the original on RT YouTube and the Republicans in Congress?

I read observations about Czarist Russia intelligence services from Mark Twain that sound suspiciously like later Communist efforts. Sometimes the more things seem to change the more they stay the same.

Russia gave up communism years ago, today it's just an incredibly corrupt mix of plutocracy and autocracy. Republicans envy the Russian system.

Following the Putin model, Trump wants to destroy our constitutional republic and establish an American autocracy run by oligarchs, where all wealth flows to the top and the rights of minorities and others are trampled. Trump's ignorant rabble admire Russia because in their minds it's become the ideal country: brutally authoritarian, white nationalist, racist and christian fundamentalist, with laws that discriminate against minorities, gays and women.

What an idiot.

One of the many reasons Russia is in active war with Ukraine is to spoil their chances for joining NATO. No matter what NATO countries claim publicly, they don't actually want to engage in war with Russia whether it's conventional or cyber or whatever else. Because it would be expensive and destructive.

Putin knows he can bully the former Soviet countries without consequence since he has a friendly US president.
