With Carlson in the news, a reminder that a former Fox Exec attended a 2016 election party in Moscow

...that was hosted by one of the most notorious online propagandists working for the Kremlin named Konstantin Rykov--a man who has openly bragged about running a propaganda campaign to get Trump elected.

The former Fox exec is Jack Hannick, specifically. A good friend of Sean Hannity's. Here's the story on him:

And Lordy, there are tapes:

As for Rykov, he's a fascinating case study in and of itself. Some of the things he's claimed sound literally unbelievable, but he can't be dismissed as a nobody. He's got some serious connections, including being groomed by Putin's right hand man Vladislav Surkov and serving a term in the Russian Duma parliament. I've written about him constantly on DU. Here's my in-depth research on him (first of five parts):

Here's some info. https://medium.com/@thomasafine/tsargrad-tv-the-fox-news-of-russia-5048c14fbda7

Problem is that everybody else interviewed at the party was somehow a tv person--commentator, producer, executive, etc. And since he was with Tsargrad TV, well, it's not like he's just a huge exception. It's not like it's politicians or random businessmen. It's also not like it was a huge party with thousands of attendees.

On the other hand, being pro-Trump would provide one bias, and bothering to go to a party at all would screen out yet more. (Makes me wonder if there were other parties assembled that were disappointed at those who lost. I've heard nothing of them, but have no reason to have heard.)
