Can the House Dems cut a deal with the rethugs for removal in the Senate?

Maybe they can ensure that protection will be provided to any rethug senator and his/her family who votes for removal?

There has to be something to break up this nightmare logjam.

Trump will be impeached but not removed. We have to hold Senate Republicans accountable in 2020.

I know the idea of HR offering protection to a senator sounds wacky -- just trying to brainstorm.

So do every one of his supporters in the media. So do probably 90% of his base.

They don't care. They are all in.

45 might go on a throw them all out rant after removal but would the public listen or know who to target if primaries and filing deadlines had not passed?

I wish we used its underrated power more. Boycott equals no financial gain. What could be a greater impetus to change?
