You can check with your county elections office to see if she is still on the voter registry, and ask them to remove her. They will probably send you a form to sign and return.

Another possibility is the list they were using is very old.

Or if she had SS disability benefits they used that list.

If they asked for money, I would tape a bunch of pennies to the donation form and send it back so they have to pay for the postage due. Or old video game tokens. Or those lead discs

When my mom went into hospice I changed her legal address to my address. I figure that's how they got my name, since she was a republican her entire life. I filled out the questionnaire, railing against Trump at every turn and letting them have both barrels for abetting the criminal, and for a "donation" I taped a shiny new penny to it and wrote in wide black marker, "for my thoughts". I then affixed extra postage (I wanted to make sure they received it) and I haven't heard a word from them since. Some asshole republican in the RNC had the privilege of reading my take on the "wonderful" Trump presidency. They did get my penny though, but I figured republicans wouldn't bother with a penny. At least I got to vent my spleen about the asshat in the White House, and I wasted some junior republican's time.

One woman in Texas got a Vote By Mail application for her daughter. Her daughter has been dead since 1989.

It was sent from the Texas Democratic Party. It made the news and of course, "Democrats and dead people voting" was the headline.
