'A WARNING' BY ANONYMOUS TOPPLES DONALD TRUMP JR.'S 'TRIGGERED' BOOK AS NO. 1 BESTSELLER

BY CHANTAL DA SILVA ON 11/29/19

A tell-all book about the Trump administration penned by an anonymous senior White House official appears to have taken the top spot on The New York Times' bestseller list for non-fiction, toppling Donald Trump Jr.'s own tome, Triggered.

Described on the Times' bestseller list as an "assessment of the president," as well as a "moral appeal" to the American public, A Warning, offers an eviscerating analysis of Trump and his ability to lead.

President Donald Trump's son's own book, meanwhile, targets those on "the left," accusing liberals of thriving on hate and seeking to silence those on the right.

Noting that A Warning had claimed the number one spot on The Times' bestseller list for non-fiction, pushing Trump Jr.'s book to number two, bestselling author and political commentator Tony Schwartz welcomed the news, calling it "poetic justice" in a tweet.

"Such poetic justice," Schwartz wrote, before calling on the author behind the Trump administration tell-all book to "out him/herself."

And it didn't cheat its way to the top. There's no bulk purchase dagger next to it. I still wish that somebody, anybody in the White House would stop wimping out and go on the record.

It's up to the poster to change the case. There are browser extensions that will do it pretty easily, but I'm not sure many people are aware of them.

Example: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/titlecase/

when it's done by the poster. When it's copied from a headline in caps it is absolutely ok.

get in more of a tizzy about all caps than about the eedjit in the WH.

If the headline being posted is IN all caps, IMO, they need to give it a rest!

whatever else that doesn't address what the subject of the thread is, telling others how or what they should be posting. And more often than not, the off topic post is the very first (keynote) post, that immediately throws the whole thread off. They have internalized some "rules" that they believe are or should be universal to everybody else. And they seem to feel obliged to express their judgment about their gripe without contributing to the thread's discussion, all this despite there being hundreds of other threads they could go visit. I pass on by hundreds of threads in favor of the ones I'm interested in, and even if one of the clicks turns out not to be my thing, I exit without comment to go to the next thing.

"basic courtesy and common sense" - another "rule" you have come up with. Who made the rule? Why is it yours and why should everybody else subscribe to your rule?

So after those rules, you proceed to the topic of the o.p. as being "largely bullshit." Now I ask, what attracted you to *my* post to address the topic of the o.p. instead of justifying your p.o.v. in the overall discussion of the topic? So just the CAPS enticed you to stop and blow up the "basic courtesy and common sense" you claim to value by sidetracking somebody's thread and obstructing others from their wanting to participate in the discussion. Not to mention, now, using a vulgarism of "bullshit" that is lacking "courtesy and common sense."

A better rule for you to internalize is to let others do their thing without butting in if you don't like their thing.
