I know nothing about tax and accounting matters. Would there be any actual evidence of money laundering and fraud in his tax returns? Wouldnt he lie and cheat there as well. I feel like Im missing something here. Can anyone shed light?

He may have lied on them.

than he reported to the IRS. Fraud in both directions.

Now, if someone has all the schedules, all his books including background on payments and disbursements, etc., one might find something if they can sort through all the shell corporation. But, even that is doubtful.
