"And my attitude about my legacy is Fuck it," he said.
--Rudy Guiliani

1. Barr said something similar
edited to add quote:
Attorney General William Barr brushed off critics attacking his reputation and handling of matters concerning President Trump, stating in a new interview: "Everyone dies." |

About their families, especially their descendants.
Nobody will be boasting about being related to them, that’s for sure. |

6. I wonder if down deep Rudy even believes this crap? It is Obama's fault.
"He made the case that the Ukrainian prosecutor fired for corruption, Viktor Shokin, was in fact not corrupt and had been forced out by the Obama administration precisely because he had the goods on the Bidens. He also claimed to have a secret source with documentary proof that Hunter Biden had been paid off through a Cyprus bank in a transaction routed through a Lithuanian bank. “When I got it” — that is, the document he claims shows this — “I had already lost Lev, and so I had no translator. I translated it with my app,” he said. He took out his phone to show me how Google Translate works."

14. Like somebody else on DU has already posted about Rudy and the Mob
He helped to run large parts of the Italian mob out of the NYC area but in
doing so did he help the Russian/Ukrainian mob move into the area and how did the benefit Rudy and Trump? |

16. I've been saying that for a while...
I can't claim to be the only one saying it though.
My take is that Trump's (and Ghouliani's) version of 'anti-corruption' is just clearing out the competition. ![]() |

20. Trump has been "mobbed up*" from day one and his lawyer's (Michael Cohen) uncle had a
... club in Brooklyn or Queens that was the meeting spot for the Russian mafia in the U.S..

15. Of course, because the truth is, his entire legacy is a lie, and he knows it.
He ran an incompetent DA's office and then brought the same level of incompetence to the mayor's office. Link
He reached the pinnacle of incompetence on 9/11/01, when he ordered people back to their desks after the first plane struck. Then he screwed thousands of first responders, many of whom have already died from the injuries they sustained on that day and /or during the months after in which they were ordered to clean up the rubble without the proper safety equipment. Thousands have died as a result of Giuliani's foolish instructions, but the media let rethugs spin an alternative reality. The guilt and shame is probably what drove him into being the foul ghoul he is today. |

19. Would someone who agreed with their actions say this?
Doesn’t this further prove that the Trump Administration is guided by self-serving motives rather than ideology? We are seeing the world’s largest bank robbery run its course.
