Ok anyone familiar with Judge Judy?

We watched and episode 2 days ago. Retired lawyer with GRAY hair sued this lady for cutting his hair wrong. Judge Judy was asking him questions and he stated he was a lawyer. She said well that makes this even DUMBER! He was trying to tell her things and She CUT him OFF saying this is STUPID. Ruled that he gets his $10 back, but he wanted MORE! She said we're DONE! Then when the two walked out of courtroom the grey haired guy said he said he's a tRUMP lover and the barber was a tRUMP HATER so she cut his hair down to the skin so he sued her! Just thought i'd mention this here! Couldn't believe he sued her! LOVED it tho!!

My 94 year old mom often has it running in the background and not a day goes by when I don't drop in and find something going on in that "courtroom" that is funnier than most SNL skits.

The best ones are the "whose dog is this" complaints. Auto repair skits are pretty good too.

over a totally bogus, blown-up case over a dog we were fostering for our daughter. Judge Judy's producer called us. He was a complete turd. We called our daughter's lawyer. The lawyer made sure the Judge Judy show left us alone after that.

If someone sues for $5k and loses on camera, they still get what they asked for. Any person ordered to pay doesn't do it out of their own pocket, the show covers it. Also, all of the people watching in the court are extras that have to have a SAG membership. Nobody can walk in off the street to watch the proceedings.

If each person gets $5000 for appearing and there is a $3000 judgement, one walks away with $2000 and the other with $8000 is my understanding.

He was suing for $5000 because his hair was cut too short The judge asked him if it had grown out to his normal length and he said yes. She said she didnt understand exactly how he was damaged and awarded him the $10 he paid for the haircut

It wasnt until afterwards that he claimed it wss done in spite because he was a Trump supporter and that he wasnt allowed to present his argument. Barber said she had no idea who he voted for before cutting his hair.

The judge was just angry that he filed a $5000 lawsuit over a $10 haircut and wasnt very interested in hearing his excuses

That is why she is paid so much. I don't think any actor is paid $900,000 a day for working. Yes, some get a whole lot for a movie, but the movies take a long time to film. If she works an 8 hour day, that is about $108,000 an hour. Or $1800 per minute.

vandalizing her car because she had a Hillary Clinton bumper sticker on it. Judge Judy was merciless towards the defendant and really let him have it. Then she awarded the plaintiff every penny she was aking for. I'm sure she leans conservative given her views on things, but she doesn't suffer fools or scofflaws lightly.

Great episode a couple days ago. Younger guy rents a house for a week to go ice fishing with him and a few buddies. They start drinking and decide to use the roof of the house as a ski jump with a snowmobile.

Homeowner claims ceiling has cracks and sues for the damage. The best part is when the defendant says no one told him or posted a sign saying you cant drive snowmobiles on the roof, so he thought it was OK. He lost.
