1. What's interesting is how the government has consistently been shedding jobs for many months now

How can the Republicans explain this? How can they say Obama is growing the government in a massive way when the government has actually been shedding jobs at a fast pace?

What gives ?

2. Fewer workers doing more work is my guess.

Stimulus is/was eating up a lot of capacity.
