As of last night's presser with WA health officials, there were only 2 cases

One was a teen male, the other a middle-aged woman.

It would have been a natural assumption that today's fatality was the woman.

So why weren't these other cases known about last night?

I do not believe we ever found out what exactly it was. then the CDC said the kits were fixed (a few days ago)--but there was a limited supply.

now today FINALLY, the cdc said that states could use their own labs for the testing. Why--they could not until today is a mystery. My own thoughts is they wanted control--or the WH wanted control. I so do not trust the WH that I am ready to believe anything.

A bad reagent in a test kit? How did it pass QC?

Pisspoor prep by the folks in charge.
