And this is probably why Trump has his impromptu presser today. He heard about this. He even tipped his hand with what he said about the elderly.

Know this, the time for action was 4-8 weeks ago. The fact he just formed a task force 2 days ago is inexcusable.

would even come into contact with an infected person...

unless there is actually widespread infection rates already. I mean thousands of people wondering around infected.

unless one of the workers at the facility also treated someone infected.

Until recently there was no screening other then Simone asking new arrivals from China if they’d been to Wuhan. We did nothing to stop this.

And if you’re a Chinese person arriving back to the US and want to get home to family do you think maybe you’d lie about being in Wuhan or somewhere close to there? Yeah, no one wants to be detained and they probably have a domestic flight to catch still to get the rest of the way home.
