Many years ago, MAD mag did a sendup of Mandrake the Magician. He’s traveling in a car with his two assistants and gets a flat tire. He immediately stated that he will fix it with his powers of hypnotism. His trusted bodyguard Lothar says: you can hypnotize us into thinking it’s fixed, you can even hypnotize yourself into thinking it’s fixed, but how are you going to hypnotize the tire into thinking it’s fixed?
Trump and his idiotic minions may have to come to terms with the fact that you cannot place stupid hats on viruses and mass-convince them that the ruler possesses the Divine Right of Kings. All the talk, all the BS, all the lies won’t wirk. It’s possibly the closest thing to Divine Intervention, if you are a believer, that has occurred recently. The funny part of all this is that the Fuhrer is a prime candidate for complications: obese, poor nutrition and thus poor immune system, cardiovascular issues including I believe, but not limited to CHF and I’ll bet he’s st the very least pre-diabetic. It’s like an additional chapter in Stephen King’s The Stand.
