So I voted yesterday.

Its for Super Tuesday and I had a mail in ballot....or I could turn it in at a voting place.

Turned it in at the voting place...Post Office is 4 blocks away, the voting place was less than one. A drop of blue in a sea or red for this one stop light town.

--------------------

Aside from that, a lot of "older" people in my area and blue collar workers.

On Valentines Day we went to a local restaurant (support local, right?), overheard two couples having dinner together, "health care for all is nice, but we can't afford it"....the economist in me sunk his head further into the prime rib...you can't fix stupid I told myself.

The other day, went to the local store/gas station. Person in front of me was chatting with the clerk...overheard "yeah I won't go back to <insert steakhouse we visited on Valentines day> because its a 3 hour shift vs. and 8 hour shift...and when I left, the owner told me he would miss me and my tits.

I live in a rural area....I and my wife are known as the people you do not talk politics or religion with (fyi, I am a believer...just not the usual type). We love living in a rural area with the peace, quiet seeing the stars at night, etc. But sometimes, damn.

Wife and I are going to get it done soon.....despite having Passports.

One thing I noticed, it required some kind of utility bill with both your names.....which can be very hard if your a renter. Say for example, two homes on the property, and the landlord just shares the cost of utilities...with his/her name on it.
