https://www.foxnews.com/us/california-homeowner-sprinkler-thieves-porterville-spray-water-pressureThe Porterville resident recently decided to deter potential thieves in her neighborhood by setting up a motion-activated sprinkler.
"Our flood light didnt seem to scare them off, so we decided to have a little fun with a motion-activated sprinkler that has an impressive amount of pressure," Katie Camarena wrote on Facebook.
According to Camarena, there have been recent issues with thieves coming into the neighborhood to "try and steal tools out of vehicles" in addition to "anything else they can get their hands on."

(42,862 posts)1. The comments... ugh!
Someone thought it should have been a shotgun instead... another thought it would be a good idea to use acid... and someone else suggesting using permanent blue dye to mark the intruder.
It would be a shame to blind, kill, or dye someone who needed help... or a neighbor who was coming to visit, or return a mis-delivered package.

House next to a beach bar. Kids would piss on the owners driveway next to the house. Motion activated sprinkler solved that problem and made for some pretty funny youtube vids!!

(38,310 posts)3. We live with a telepathic dragon. We call him Spot.
He eats the dangerous bad guys. The rest he chases away.
Sometimes I find partially digested guns in his poop.
Whenever Spot's away, doing whatever it is dragons do when they are away, we hire Doug.
Beware of Doug.
He's scarier than Spot.
