Had to do a double take on the white flag behind Dence's podium.

Thought for a split second it was a Klan robe the way it was hanging all pointy like with that star in the front that looked like an eye hole.

His low odds don't mean shit if you're one who contracts it.

When my mom was having a cancer biopsy on both breasts back in the 60's my dad asked the doctor what the odds were of a malignancy. About 1 in 100 he said. Dad, trying to maintain hopefulness, replied that that was pretty good odds. The doctor then said Mr.______, it doesn't take me long to see 100 patients. Her recovery was long and much harder in those days. The cobalt treatments were excruciating painful.
