Who is supposed to be quarantined?

I know someone who got a phone call from an airline, saying that her seat put her in close contact with someone diagnosed with Coronavirus.

So she called her Health department and told them this happened, and that she'd been having cold symptoms -- and they asked her what her temperature was. It was below 100, so they didn't care.

They didn't want to test her. They didn't tell her to self-quarantine. Nothing.

I can see that on their website the county says they have NO cases reported and NO cases under investigation.

Because they choose not to!

Health Dept won't do anything. If the airlines called her than that is a warning that should be taken seriously enough to at least test her. She should self quarantine and wear a mask if she goes out to the hospital so she doesn't infect others if she has it.

I know that you're not supposed to wear them on the subway or whatever. But patients are supposed to wear them, and sometimes their caregivers. But they're not available.

The last thing we need is people with a common cold or normal flu taking up ER beds.
See your GP or go to quick care places.
