(36,106 posts)?? She looks really young
Crap, I'm getting old. I can't judge ages anymore. I'd have said she was much younger
El Supremo
(20,365 posts)don't want an older President.

(36,106 posts)It's a POTUS, not your pilot or your doctor or a roofer
Calculating
(2,955 posts)POTUS is a hard job to do. Constant phone calls in the middle of the night, travel, rallies, meetings with world leaders, etc. It requires somebody with a fair amount of stamina who can handle the pressure/workload.

(29,199 posts)Before this primary season started, I stated that I did not want to see the following candidates from our side:
Hillary
Warren
Bernie
and even Joe (I love him... but seriously)
And all but Hillary ran... and the voters seem to like those 3 that did.
I really wanted to see that the torch had really passed to the next generation.
Maybe in 4 or 8 more years... and then it skips Obama's generation and goes to Mayor Pete or Be to or someone.

(34,136 posts)Hopefully whoever gets the nomination will pick a young VP running mate.
I don't know who I'd want for VP since I don't want to take any of our wonderful Democratic Senators out of the Senate - but that might give them a solid step towards being the next Democratic President following this year's winner. Stacey Abrams would be a good choice, IMO.

(15,390 posts)Biden, Bernie, and Warren are in great shape. I have more of a problem with people in their 30's running. Way too young.
El Supremo
(20,365 posts)Biden has had some issues too.
Polybius
(15,390 posts)Even Nixon was 81, not young. I'm not worried.

(63,221 posts)He's not exactly in "great shape". Biden and Warren are in good shape, much better than Trump, for sure. I just honestly don't know if Bernie would last through his first term given the stress of the job.

(15,390 posts)They said he might die in office. Well, he's still living 24 years later.
