We have our first case of coronavirus in NC. Son called & said he may have been on same plane.

Patient contracted virus when visiting a nursing home in Seatle area that had a coronavirus outbreak. Patient flew back to RDU on Feb. 22nd. My son was in Seattle on business and also flew back to RDU on Feb 22nd too. He's trying to get info from the airlines.
He and his wife have 2 small children. His wife is Vietnamese, and I've been warning them not to fly abroad any time soon for fear of virus, but looks like that may have not mattered.
The patient has been quarantined in his own home in Wake County.

If your son wasn't in close contact with the other gentleman, I trust he'll be fine. Best to you.

I just worry about my grandchildren. I jokingly told him on the phone, "See you in two weeks!"

This is worrying. Is there a test for the kids at least? I know that chances are good that there was no exposure but now the family has to worry and deal with this. I hope everything turns out OK for you all!
