It's the TESTOSTERONE, stupid!

I am prefacing this by saying I am a 55 year old MALE.

I am convinced much of Drumpf's appeal is he appears to exude TESTOSTERONE. I took a couple of Poly Sci classes in college, and I learned that Latin American dictators have an appeal to the man on the street. The dictator is DECICIVE, and he exudes "manliness". The man on the street knows the dictator is often wrong, but he appears MANLY.

I think this also applies to Drumpf, either to musclehead men or women that are drawn to muscleheads. One thing that confounds me though is that Drumpf Humpers are too damn stupid to realize he's wrong. But hey, he exudes testosterone!

He also appeals to fear, triggering a FIGHT or flight reaction among his sycophants.

a senile, ugly "man" in his 70s does not exude testosterone.

Sorry, you missed on this one.

His mere attempts to look macho are laughable in the extreme. I think his appeal to the losers of the nation is that he's a loser, too. Born with everything. Lost everything. Over and over and over. He's a ray of hope to losers who want to someday start failing upward.

He appears manly and macho to losers and women who are drawn to losers. To the rest of us, he is a caricature of the laughable weakling who puffs himself up to try to look tough in order to cover up his insecurity and fear of exposure.

He is an absolute joke. I've worn dresses with more testosterone.

any of them would be happy if trump chose their wife or daughter for a one nighter.

it would be more convincing if he could do a push up.

It folds in nicely with his blatant misogyny and covert racism. Put the three together, and Trump’s appeal formula is complete.

He just shares a host of hateful views and grievances with a masterful of deplorables who want a purified (white, Christian, heterosexual, native born, patriarchal, conservative) America, where those they consider impure are second class citizens, hidden from public view, deported or eliminated.

think this goes a great way toward explaining why you need an electron microscope to measure his support amongst non-white women, but he does have SOME success in getting non-white men to vote for him. It's all about that phony macho dick-waving bravado, that seems to impress the shit out of a lot of low-wattage males.

He speaks to them conversationally, and it’s all about telling them what’s really going on, and asking them what they think. He’s an expert at marketing an emotional us vs them perspective.

"Bully", yes. But bullies aren't significantly manly (those that are purely physical might be noted as strong, but Trump does not look like a purely physical bully - he's too fat, and comes across as lazy). I would not think he is, or has ever been, above average physically attractive to anyone, so I can't see him as 'manly' or anything to do with sex hormones.

I would agree that his supporters see him as 'decisive', though.

That's my opinion as a woman. He comes across a guy who desperately wants to be perceived as manly, but he's not. He isn't strong in physical strength or character.
