democratic coronavirus response
trump is obviously fumbling this crisis badly, but perhaps he is partially right if we don't do anything except criticize.
our candidates should be leading on this subject, gathering (virtually) the best doctors and other experts to provide the best advice and a plan that we can execute as soon as trump us out of the way. i think a team of reasonable economists might also be helpful.

3. Trump has staked his claim on the idea that "this is all overblown....
a few thousand people will die sure, but nothing out of the ordinary for flu".
The US will come away relatively unscathed. That is the risk he is running with others lives and he doesn't give a f**k. Thing is, if his play goes his way, he will look golden. Second thing is, this prick is lucky and it could go his way. Those that die are beside the point. There is an election to win. |
