Off San Francisco Bay. If nothing else, we’ve seen, from the cruise ship off Japan is how a ship is a perfect environment for spreading.

1. It is inhumane to the crew of the ship.

They didn't sign up for the repeated exposure.

it is several thousand people. You can't just dump them on the street.

5. Quarantine them in military bases where they are not in each other's space.

And monitor them there.

I think that we will find out that most of them can be released to their homes for self-quarantine.

But if they all stay on the ship, the number of the infected will grow fast.

I am no expert, but there have to be epidemiologists who can come with ideas.

We must have learned something from the previous “floating Petri dish.”

4. I am receiving daily

several ads on cruise holidays. I suspect that there are a lot of cancellations and the industry is hurting. I wouldn't even consider a cruise right now.

got cruise advertising in the mail two days in a row, from the same cruise line! That industry has got to be desperate right now.

No way I'd get on to one of those floating Petri dishes.

There seems to be a very steep learning curve for our government here. I’m losing respect for the CDC every damn day.
