Trump to skip CDC visit today in favor of fundraiser

President Trump was scheduled to visit the CDC in Atlanta today, but that stop no longer appears on his schedule. Instead he goes straight from Nashville, where he’s touring tornado damage, to Palm Beach, where he’s speaking at a fundraiser.

Trump just undercut the White House statement, saying he scrapped the trip because “they had one person who was potentially infected, and speaking of that I’d like to go...because of the one person they didn’t want me going, but I would prefer going.”

What could he possibly contribute to a visit to the CDC? Without prompting, I wonder if he even knows what the initials CDC stand for. Also, he's probably afraid he'd be booed and he's too stupid and thinks there may be germs floating around in the air.
