Its right next to my work so I go there for lunch 5 times a week usually. Not going to name it so don't ask. I manage the business next to them and they know it so that plus going there so much and they are really relaxed when around me. The manager was asking a waitress if they had gone and done the corona virus yet and that she needed to do it to keep her shifts there. I was like wtf? Maybe if this was in an area with an outbreak I could understand it but there are no cases anywhere near us. Still kinda wondering if I misheard or something but I don't think I did. Anyone heard anything like this?
Adding it was a test and was to go to the doctor.

(86,536 posts)and there is no vaccine yet so... I could see where he would be reminding her that she would need to get the regular flu shot but there is none for this one yet. Food handlers usually have to get certified and sometimes that requires proof of shots/vaccines in order to stay in compliance with food handlers' certification.

Yes I know for many they will say not when I worked in 19 blah blah but now in many places it is required to work any burger joint or take out pizza place .
You are probably are in an area that has required additional cert on virus contact and prevention.
Dont get the cert dont get the shift assigned
good on the place for no slack
