Florida group funded by pro-Trump Super PAC tied to voter registration fraud arrest

An organization registering Florida voters in cooperation with a pro-Trump Super PAC has been tied to allegations of fraud after a Florida elections office flagged dozens of problematic forms wrongly registering or changing the party affiliations of unwitting voters.

More than 120 voter registration forms submitted recently by Florida First Inc., a non-profit tied to the America First Action Super PAC, were marred by forged signatures, unauthorized party registration switches and bogus personal information, according to Lake County Supervisor Alan Hays. At least 18 of the forms improperly led Hays’ office to change Democratic and independent voters to Republican.

On Thursday, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Clermont woman and charged her with 10 felony counts of submitting false voter registration information. Detectives say they do not believe Florida First is engaged in fraud as an organization, but Hays told the Miami Herald Friday that additional Florida First workers may have falsified registration forms.

“Our investigation has led us to believe there are other operators that might be involved in this thing,” Hays said in an interview, noting that three new voters have reported unauthorized changes since he went public with the issue of falsified registration forms on Wednesday.

A Clermont woman accused of submitting fraudulent voter registration forms to the Lake County Supervisor of Elections has been described by the county's Republican Party as being a "rank and file" member of their organization.

Yet information posted on Cheryl Hall's Facebook page suggest the 63-year-old was heavily involved in voter registration events while attending numerous political functions.

Photographs on Hall’s Facebook page show her posing at events with high-profile Republicans like Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Rick Scott, Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody, Sean Hannity, Roger Stone and Donald Trump, Jr.

"Holy cow. When we discovered what was going on, we were all shocked," said Lake County Supervisor of Elections Alan Hays....

We have a Republican Governor and two Republican senators. The social networks are going to do whatever they can do to keep it that way. It's Florida. Don't expect people here to behave in a decent manner. At best they'll get a hand slapped, but they'll have stories to laugh about in their private circles.

it isn't like is someone changed my registration to "rethug" that i'm going to go vote for drumpf. So what was the point of that?

first rule of being a rethug: do all the things you claim are horrible/only done by Democrats.

having read this:

https://www.democraticunderground.com/100213044801

now i can put two and two together........... this was meant to make fraudulent voters out of legit indy/Democrat voters to lay the groundwork to contest the election. Imagine a few days after drumopf loses that deSantis produces these 100 cases of voter fraud involving Indy/Democrat voters. The election was stolen! We need to investigate! drumpf s the true winner! If these 100 were fraud, how many more are out there????????

THAT is why they are planting these fakes applications.

You can bet this is going on elsewhere too. looknig at you Kemp of Georgia.........
