Went to COSTCO today in Irvine, CA: no water, paper towels or toilet paper available

I was there for paper towels, Kleenex and a few other things. The place was basically empty at 2 in the afternoon.

I guess I'll be hitting Ralphs tomorrow for paper towels.

no toilet paper, paper towels (although they had those mega rolls of paper towels you find in public restrooms) and no hydrogen peroxide. I'm about to whip up a batch of five thieves' potion (garlic, ginger, horseradish, onion, fresh chilies and I'm adding turmeric and black pepper -- all finely cut and it sits in apple cider vinegar for 2 weeks to 2 months or even longer -- you take a teaspoonful of the vinegar to ward of viral stuff.)

I bought 1 pkg of TP and sugar for the hummingbirds today at QFC, although the flour and sugar was really picked over. Good thing the hummingbirds seem to prefer Unbleached cane sugar.

7. You need to state your locale to prevent others from unnecessarily panicking.

It isn't the case in every city, yet. I'd like to think people would leave SOME items for others eve while they stock up.

Also, Costco is, of course, not the only place where you can stuff. I find it maddening sometimes, and try to only go there during off-peak hours.

Grocery stores, dollar stores, pharmacies etc seem to have stuff. The only thing I have consistently not seen is hand sanitizer, but you should be able to make that yourself!

Try your local janitorial supply companies. We picked up a box of 96 rolls of commercial tp for a little lees than the 30-roll bag from Costco.
