I'm extremely saddened to learn of the first fatality in our district from coronavirus, a Northwest Floridian residing in Santa Rosa County. Our prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

What an image to leave imprinted on the American psyche. Mocking the very real suffering, anxiety and deaths occurring all over the world right now because of this virus. The banality of evil and all that. I guess he wanted to make the history books, and if this virus matches even some of the milder scenarios, he will.
