Ailes figured, correctly, that the more indoctrinated they became, the more they would only want to hear right wing propaganda packaged as the truth. Now there is a generation and a half that has grown up with this. THAT is why Fox viewers with a sword run through them will believe, if Fox tells them so in their dying moments, that it was only a toothpick, and they will be well enough to attend the next Trump rally next month in their town. We had better get used to the fact that THIS is the kind of voter that we are facing in a great number of states. I don't know how--or even IF--there is any way to reach people like that, because if they can, they will all vote, and not for us.
