School district in Westchester Cty (NY) has closed all public schools for 9 days

Our school district in Westchester County just closed all public schools for 9 days because of a faculty member who tested positive.

I’ve seen Mimi a lot on MSNBC, and she’s a totally legit source

Anyway, this is the East Coast now under siege

tested positive, so the district is closed until the 18th.

Scarsdale is in Westchester County where the first outbreak in NY was identified.

Was just at a big family Bat Mitzvah last night in neighboring Fairfield County and practically everyone but me was hugging and kissing like normal.

If my family is any indication this is going to get way worse before it gets better.

I was pleased to see big bottles of Purell at front desk of the hotel we stayed at and a machine dispensing wipes in the lobby.

But it was still nice to see the hotel had taken some action.

People at the Bat Mitzvah actually said to me, “it’s only handshakes you’re not supposed to do, kissing is okay”!
