I'm sick and I did everything I could to limit exposure

But I probably got it from somebody going to work sick because Merica F yeah.

https://www.democraticunderground.com/100213047894

I'm not bad and I hope it's something else. But how the hell would I know. I'm high risk and if this gets worse I have a good Dr. & Medicare.

Wish me luck.

My point is did they have enough of a sample with accumulated data to say these things as gospel? Unless you knew the exact point of a victim encountered an infected person and counted days and all we're two weeks or less?

but the 101.4 number is stated twice. First that it is a fever, and further down says if it's 100.4 to call the emergency room. I thought it made sense that the 2 numbers could be confused. But then there's stories of people not being able to test, because their fever wasn't high enough. The parameters are ridiculous, so who knows? I wonder about different facilities treating it differently also. But, I know I have never had a 104 fever.

There's been a case purported to be cured in Spain, and apparently there's been some research regarding treatments with Kaletra happening in China for some time. This linked article seems to hail this as a cure, which seems premature, but hey, if things do get worse for you, maybe an option?

I can send ‘em all day long! Ain’t the internet wonderful?

I’d say take it as easy as possible on yourself. Drink lots of fluids! I like hot tea, but broths and soups and water and more water.

Big hugs across the miles, my friend.

You might have made the ultimate sacrifice, instead.

Just kidding. Hope you get well soon.

I’m high-risk, too, age 71 w/immune issues, but have avoided illness so far this season. When I get a cold or flu, it always heads straight for the lungs, so I always have some concerns.

Keep us posted. Take it easy, try not to stress; just focus on getting well.

The 'fog" is much thinner and my bones don't ache near as bad. I hope this is a mild flu & getting better.

After reading this however....
https://www.democraticunderground.com/100213067123

Summary guy gets sick-it is mild for a while and get progressively worse-his cat gets it & dies(!)-and 40 days later he's finally well.40 days....And I have animals galore. Especially a rescue Chiwi that is inseparable from me.
Anyhow hoping for the best.

Just to clarify my initial "I did everything I could" I started self isolating 4 days before the CDC suggestion. No kisses or hugs in the family A stool by the door with hand sanitizer and fresh towel for anyone coming in the house. Started taking Elderberry along with my meds.

In 2 weeks I only went out twice. We needed to stock up & went to Walmart with my wife. Kept a fair distance & used sanitizer on the self check screen etc..

The 2nd trip I posted above.

Anyhow I'm able to type all this so definitely better but need more rest. And I hope this is a mild flu but as we don't test how the hell do I know?
Merica!
