The GOP Virus Plan: Manage deaths, not prevention

This plan is straight out of the Stephen Miller and evangelical playbook. Let the virus run its course as quickly as possible. Prevent any efforts to slow or minimize it.

Of course this will create the most human suffering, but it will have the least impact on the economy and thus, trumps plans for re-election.

For Miller and the racists, it has the added benefit of hitting the poor and immigrant communities the hardest. It will "cull" a large number of people getting welfare, medicare and ss; leaving more money for tax cuts. It will also offer opportunity for further authoritarian rules.

For the evangelicals, it will be a mini-rapture where the entitled go to heaven and everyone else goes to hell. It will help to bring on the final rapture, and drive people to contribute to their coffers.

For everyone else, it will be extreme suffering, loss, and a lot of deaths.

It's the perfect GOP storm.

Sounds like Italy is so overwhelmed, they are just letting old people die and treat young ones instead.

This demographic fact seems to be a major factor in the number of very sick people in Italy.
