I have no doubt it is here but maybe the cases are either asymptomatic or so mild people think it's a cold virus. I came down with a cold, just as the coronavirus was hitting the news, and the beginning symptoms, except for the fever component, were pretty similar.
Anyway, you can go to the Michigan.gov site and sign up for these updates and alerts. No doubt every state has something similar.
Meanwhile, I intend to carry on, cautiously, until the situation changes.

(102,232 posts)The other states that have not yet seen a case are slightly less surprising. Not wishing COVID-19 on any state or anyone, of course, but MI is not a state I'd expect to be late in experiencing or at least confirming its presence.

As far as I've seen, there's been no real panic buying, although I didn't see any hand sanitizer at the Dollar Tree, today.
