Sessions swats back after Trump endorses his opponent

Jeff Sessions insisted on Wednesday that nothing will stop him from supporting President Donald Trump's agenda, even if Trump doesn't support him.

The president announced on Tuesday his endorsement of former Auburn University football coach Tommy Tuberville in his run-off race against Sessions for the Senate seat that the former attorney general vacated in 2017. But Sessions, an early Trump backer who has fallen out of favor with the White House, signaled he will continue to run on his support for the president.

"I'm one of the architects of the Trump agenda — I’ve always supported it and always will. Nothing the President can do will deter me from supporting this agenda, because my principles, just like my faith, are fundamental to who I am and immovable," Sessions said in a pair of tweets.

He added defiantly: "We are Alabama. Nobody tells us how to vote or what to do."

Trump calls Sessions a 'dumb southerner' and they still love him.

After all, he 'tells it like it is'.

It shows, it really, really shows that you refuse to take advice from anyone else.

Alabama is next to last on the list of best and worst states, according to the new rankings from US News and World Report.

The Best States ranking of states compiles thousands of data points to decide how well states are taking care of their citizens. Health care, education, the state’s economy, roads, bridges, internet and other infrastructure, public safety, the fiscal stability of state government, and opportunity are factors in determining which state is the ‘best’.

Alabama ranked 49th, beating Louisiana.

Bottom 10 states:

That is the fealty of a sycophant and a proponent of an ideology divorced from the very system it is being used against.

Supporters, followers, loyalist and fealty are not a good formula for the continuity of democracy, especially when the nature of their ideology is party above country, capitalism above people and power above the law and our Constitution. That's a toxic brew mixed with a bottle of acid and they are pouring it all over now.

Tubberville coached at Auburn which means automatically half the state hates his guts.
