Heard on fox business actually floored me

I am in particular fascinated with the stock market being almost a breathing animal. I watch fox business and cnbc daily cnbc seems to be more calm these past few days but fox business on the other hand treads into fox news bullshit waters.

This morning

"With dow futures down drastically it makes me wonder if investors were actually listening to the president last night. Do we know for sure all networks carried his message? "

That is conspiracy talk from dagen McDowell I believe her name was?

Are going to be so willing as we move into a phase where his incompetence has immediate widespread effects, particularly in a state of heightened awareness. Perhaps he's so influenced his audience that they won't see his incompetence but it's hard to believe that people who's following of him is more a practical matter ("sure he's an idiot but he is giving me a tax break / driving liberals crazy&quot will go along with it.

the market reacts negatively.

Stephanie Rhule accurately noted this morning that is somehow lost on all these super geniuses is what the market is accurately viewing this from a HEALTH CARE CRISIS.

The market will tank again today BECAUSE Trump spoke last night and all the networks carried it.

His message of "close the border with Europe - but just the EU part" was inane and shortsighted.

The investors are not stupid, because of our failure to act to contain this... back when we might have had a chance... means months to possibly years of reduced GDP. There are so many sectors that will be negatively affected it would be better to try to enumerate the sectors that WON'T see more than a small downturn.

Right now, they are pricing in 40 percent of all citizens of the US becoming infected... and, since we can't or won't contain it, re-infecting the world.

I won't be at all surprised by a further drop of 10,000 points.

Imagine watching the president speaking and thinking that he was making cogent points and totally being in control?

It's impossible for me to imagine.

It's a good balance of realists and optimists, with interviews of medical professionals mixed in.

This morning an analyst from the UK called today's market behaviors an "existential threat." Also, Bloomberg has live coverage from Asia every evening as their markets open.
