NEWS @GOPLeader KEVIN MCCARTHY told Republicans that he is opposed to the Democrats coronavirus bill, a blow to hopes for biparitsanship and perhaps a harbinger for the bills prospects in the GOP Senate.
The WH has made its preference clear, but this is a bad sign.

And, the media and "middle" voters in this country want to think "they are both the same ..."

(3,471 posts)Then, the Dems need a full-court press -- Pelosi, Biden, Sanders*, etc -- on GOP obstruction and ownership of every bit of damage the pandemic does to the country.
*Assuming he wants to accomplish things instead of just re-elect il Doofus. This can be an early litmus test for that.
