(13,081 posts)I have encountered hoards dismissing Coronavirus as just another flu. The stock market? Itll come back they say.
Even sharing the dire warnings from Italy and elsewhere there are morans dismissive of scientific information.
Just this morning I got this message: Its not air born (sic). You get it from droplets, from a cough or a sneeze.

(13,081 posts)to believe their loved ones died from other causes. And that will partially be true when all hospital beds are filled and grandpa has a heart attack but cant get admitted to ICU.

(13,911 posts)Remember, Trump only has the support of 40% of the public and 10% of that is soft. If we can peel off a fraction of that soft support well win in a landslide. Even if we dont, we still win. Most election experts seem to believe that he cannot win unless his approval rating surpasses 45%. He rarely hits that number. So things are looking good in November, especially considering the turnout were seeing in the primaries.
