I would have expected op-ed or editorial page commentary on trump's plan to close the barn door now that the horses have gone, or, iow, to crater the world economy with the only arrow in his quiver - a travel ban.

I just popped in to the DU now and haven't scrolled though today's posts yet, but nothing jumped out at me.

Here's the problem, of course. Anyone who criticizes this plan is going to be derided as allowing a foreign Chinese virus to enter the US, while trump is taking decisive action. The plan will almost certainly fail, but he'll still claim that he was the most effective world leader to take action.

My head is spinning.
