7. This country, in general...

This country, in general, really likes to wear a facade and pretend, so its current "presidentialator" type goon takes advantage of that to the maximum. He just gives an exaggerated version of The Spectacle. It is really time to fess up and admit what a mess things really are here. I think this crisis will expose a lot of that and it will be more difficult to overlook.

Not convinced? Go look at where we rank in most important issues from health to income to infant mortality, etc., etc., and you will find that we have a rather deep shithole with tons of sequins, sparkles and candy sprinkles on it. It is a wasteland where the wealthy dare not tread.

Many Americans live in a Simulation. If they were shoved outside of that, it would be psychologically overwhelming to say the least.
